Bob
Bright's 1966 show winning Pontiac GTO(4
spd).
After having
his 455 built by one of his local shops and spending a lot of
money doing so, Bob was very disappointed with the power, and
in a short time the engine failed. Bob sent his engine to Butler
Performance for a complete rebuild/upgrade. Bob wanted a Pontiac
engine that looked as good as his car, make big power/toque,
be very streetable and of course last for years of gear banging
use with little or no maintenence. We delivered the beautiful
570 HP (@5900 rpm) and 560 ft.lb/torque,
(without nitrous), 467
cu.in engine you see here. It uses Edel. heads,
hyd. roller cam, offy lowrise 2x4, and runs on pump
gas
